Editorial Guidelines
As a content creator and editor, I strive to maintain a high standard for everything I publish. Whether the piece is written from scratch or supported by AI tools, the final result should feel helpful, human, and honest. These guidelines ensure consistency, clarity, and value for every reader.
1. Purpose & Focus
The aim is to create content that’s clear, useful, and actionable—especially in areas like digital marketing, B2B strategies, SEO, and tech innovation. Every article should help readers solve a problem, gain insight, or take meaningful action.
2. Accuracy & Originality
I only publish accurate, well-researched content.
- I verify facts, stats, and claims with credible sources.
- I don’t tolerate plagiarism.
- AI tools can assist with structure or draft ideas, but I always rewrite and refine everything myself.
3. Using AI Responsibly
I sometimes use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to speed up ideation or generate FAQs—but I never copy and paste content directly.
- Every draft is rewritten in my own words.
- I strip out fluff, tighten sentences, and make sure it sounds like me, not a machine.
4. Voice & Tone
I write the way I speak:
- Clear and direct, without jargon
- Friendly and professional
- Focused on value, not word count
- I often use questions, short sentences, and bold statements to keep readers engaged
5. Writing & Editing Style
I keep things readable and to the point:
- Active voice > Passive
- Short paragraphs (1–3 sentences)
- No filler words like “just,” “really,” or “that” unless they add clarity
- I aim for strong openings and clear takeaways
6. Formatting & SEO
Structure matters.
- I use subheadings, bullet points, and bold text to break up content
- I naturally include keywords and internal links for SEO
- I write my own title tags and meta descriptions—short, clear, and clickable
7. Content from Others
If I work with contributors or freelancers:
- AI use is okay for drafting, but not for final copy
- Everything must be rewritten, polished, and feel human
- I’ll review for tone, formatting, accuracy, and structure before anything gets published
